GirlTD goes V.I.P.

Pose Ultralounge and Nightclub at The Gaylord National D.C.

I was told, when traveling always to carry a little black dress or a slinky knit formal ball gown that you can unroll once you pull it out of your luggage.  Well over this past weekend, GirlTD had an opportunity to use both, the gown and the dress.

First up, The Dress, was appropriate at  Pose, a hotspot located in the mini-city of the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Hotel. 
Only Blogalicious11 Conference attendees were escorted beyond the Velvet Rope for an evening of dancing, scent-inspired cocktails featuring genuine lavender provided by Pine-Sol.  We drank delicious Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.  We dined on scrumptious gnosh foods prepared by Que Rica Vida like Tea Sandwich Flats, Tuna Salad Bruschetta, Basiland Crabmeat Topped Cucumbers, Cucumber Slices Provencal and Chocolate Coconut Macaroons.

This spot was the place to be and in fact reminded GirlTD of the nightclub where Melanie and Derwin were invited to the Toyota Party; Derwin followed up on his cupholder deal and Melanie first learned the do's and don'ts of being a Girlfriend in the NFL.  Watch the episode here.

Now you're probably asking, I get the dress, everyone could use a "little black dress" but why the gown?  Two Words:  The Boss!

Yes, GirlTD had the distinct honor and pleasure to witness Miss Ross in all of her true glitz and glamour, perform five of some of our favorite songs.  Now how we did that, we can't tell you but trust, your girls savored every second of this unexpected treat.....We're Coming Out!
