Tonight's episode of The Game Malik's life seemed to be ripped right from the headlines as he was forced to sell his mansion. How many times have we heard of an $80 million dollar athlete going broke, left with nothing but memories and regrets? Fortunately for Malik, he still has his best friend, confidant and go-to man Tee Tee (we're so glad he's back) to remind him that his house is not who he was, it was just something he bought.
So while Malik packs his things and takes one last dip in his pool, Jason finds out that he has a new co-host. The executives at his show, The Pitt Stop, have decided that they need to sex things up a bit. Their winning formula: a blond, questionably cute and seasoned anchor, who has already settled into Jason's chair. Jason protests the decision, actually rapping the lyrics to his Dip 'n Pitts song (yes, he was that desperate). It was worse than when Tasha sang Rihanna's Take A Bow, when she got fired a couple of season's ago.
Anyway, Jason took his bruised ego to his wife Chardonnay. As any good wife would do she pulled herself away from watching the Alexander O'neal episode of Unsung, to give her husband support and encouragement until she found out his new co-host was cute, blond, and (gasp)-white!
Remembering Jason's history and preference, this is where Chardonnay needed some reassurance and understanding. But alas she is married to Jason Pitts. True to fashion, he turned it all on her, put her insecurities on blast, and tried to downplay or justify his attraction to white women.
Meanwhile, Melanie decided to visit the one restaurant in town where she suspects she can find Tasha hanging out. Realizing what his wife is up to, Derwin reluctantly tags along, asking, "wasn't it enough that you took her fashion show?" Well obviously not. Because Melanie marched right in, overdressed in a gold dress to watch her husband drink cranberry juice. After Tasha sees team Merwyn she orders Wasabi peanuts and the competition is on. The two rivals engage in a stare off that results in trying to out order, out last, and of course, out tip each other. After all, they are ballers!
By the end of the show, Malik was moving on (and out) to his next dream (and address). Melanie and Tasha were ready to go the distance. The surprise of the night was that Jason actually shared a genuine tender moment with his wife-again. Stay tuned!
So what did you think of tonight's episode?

This episode was bland at best. The fued between Melanie and Tasha is stupid. It wasn't interesting. I tuned out on Malik and TT. Jason and Chardonnay's storyline was decent but all in all the show is fast becoming predictable and boring. Instead of the laugh track I hear birds chirping. BET missed out on a golden opportunity.
