Tia Mowry has announced that she will not return to The Game for the sixth season. After last night's episode she tweeted the news to her fans, stating that she would be focusing on other projects.
Mowry recently penned a book on motherhood, Oh, Baby! and co-stars with her sister on their reality show, Tia and Tamera, which airs on the My Style network.

Whether Mowry's character, Melanie, will be written out of the story line or if another actress will take on the role, remains to be seen. With only two episodes left in this season, this is a real cliffhanger. Looks like the Sunbeams will need a new president after all. We'll keep you posted.

ReplyDeleteWhy is it that every time we as fans get hooked on a show there are cast members who can't seem to get along. Put your ego's aside and get your money. Why is every time we as fans get hooked on a show the networks fail to live up to their agreements/promises. Girlfriends, Single Ladies, now The Game. Reality TV is to " real", and I personally am tired of the bullying and young ladies selling their integrity for the almighty dollar. Thank goodness for Shonda Rhimes for writing shows with some sustenance. Something to finally to look forward to. Action, drama, nail biting , excitement!!
ReplyDeleteKRC, while we appreciate your comment, note that we've not received any reports or information about the reasoning for the departure of Tia and Pooch other than financial. It is not our understanding that the departure of the stars of the show is because of infighting as suspected in such shows as Single Ladies. From what we've uncovered, this issue is a network "thing" not a castmember "thing".
