If You Love The Game, This Is For You

The last two seasons of The Game have seen it's share of wins and losses: record-breaking success, changes in story-line, and the introduction of new characters.  Some have expressed that the changes in the recent seasons have resulted in their disappointment in the overall direction of the show.  It seems that backlash against The Game has reached an all-time high.

We have to be honest, since the show moved to BET, we have felt the sting of negative remarks.  At this point we feel that we've been silent for far too long.  So today we are going to make our official statement:
"We love The Game!" 

When we created this blog, it was because we truly loved The Game and were ecstatic about its return.  Two seasons have passed and we are still fans.  From the Trey Wiggs love triangle to Sunbeam meetings to Dip and Pitts to the Derwin "Boom" Davis come up, we love The Game in its totality.  They are our team!

It's not blind loyalty (we shared some concerns with BET, also).  But we love everything about the Game from getting to know the players on the first episode of season 1to anticipation of their respective comebacks during season 5.

Those of you who love The Game have heard and read the groundswell of negativity about the show.  Some of you have shared with us your dismay over the Twitter time lines and Facebook posts that exist only to take cheap shots and garner the author some online fame and followers at the expense of the show.  We know you've searched high and low for someone to discuss episodes with.  You want a recap that doesn't start with reasons why you should give up on the show.  We know that some of you want to discuss the lifestyle that some of your favorite characters experience.    

So we want to make it really clear: For The Love Of The Game is the place for you.  We will continue to celebrate the show.  We will still give you the recaps, the lifestyle, the issues, and we'll reminisce on our favorite episodes.  So consider us your sweet spot.  If you love The Game, this blog is for you.  Saber blue all day long!
